Vacation murder is my most complex and longest standing project. over a year and a half of work, nearly 80 trial batches and some of the most photorealistic and complicated formulas. 

It all started a while back when I watched a murder mystery show and had the idea of "what if I blended pina colada with Gunsmoke?" it took me a while to nail both of those accords but after a while i could make a super photorealistic accord for both and blended them, but it still seemed all too bland. it sat on a burner for a while because I just thought to truly make it into a fragrance, it would be something far beyond my expertise. I kept doing small trials testing out different ideas. after a year of tinkering back and forth across different projects the answer FINALLY came to me. 

This fragrance makes use of some great quality ingredients, tons of naturals and absolutes and over 40 unique ingredients. Truely creates the feeling as if you've been transported to a tropical island, sipping on a pina colada and a fresh bowl of fruit in front of you. You can almost feel the sticky ripe mango juice trickling down your face and dripping onto your lap. as it dries down it turns into a sunscreeny, banana, strawberry-esk, nectarine-esk aroma that lasts as a skin scent for a while.

in the end, I ended up ditching the Gunsmoke accord and created something else that is truly fascinating. I wanted it to be something that faded in and out of the fragrance, as if it's some sort of forgotten memory. This "forgotten memory" accord is primarily made using a very rare ingredient: rhubarb absolute. which smells absolutely nothing like rhubarb, oddly. Ive utilized it in a way that you will randomly recognize a new very complex, almost eerie, aroma while wearing it. Right when you smell it on your skin, however, it remains unchanged. 

I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do, I hope that the longevity for others is better than on my skin. i get around 4 hours, others get up to 10 hours with 6 hours of projection. Keep in mind, as this fragrance continues to macerate and maturate the scent profile will continue to change.
